manufacturer magnus olesen designer johnny sørensen A combination of curved wooden and metal forms, Zebra chair takes its name from the distinctive laminated wood back rails. An elegant and comfortable chair, it fulfils the highest requirements of the Danish Furnituremakers' Quality Control. The Zebra chair is available in three editions, Zebra 1, Zebra 2 and Zebra 3. The Zebra 1 has a flat timber front leg frame which incorporates the armrests. Zebra 2 has a rounded, 'tubular' wooden front leg frame and can be stacked to a maximum of 8 units high. Zebra 3 has a cantilevered frame in tubular steel and armrests in laminated timber. The seat pad can be upholstered in a choice of vinyl, wool or leather. In all three editions of the chair, the wood finish options include beech, maple or cherry, the tubular steel frame can be chrome plated or aluminium painted in a clear or black lacquer. The seat is available upholstered in a variety of wool, vinyl and leather fabrics.
